Q. Why is AMPC Freight changing?
A. AMPC continues to work at improving benefits. We are now able to offer better LTL freight rates to our members along with an Assisted Quote for those who want personal help.
Q. What are the major changes in the program?
A. In addition to taking advantage of better rates
using the current AMPC Freight automated system, members now have the
option to request an Assisted Quote. This variety will better
meet the needs of various member situations.
Q. Who Qualifies for AMPC Freight?
A. You do! All AMPC members can participate, but to use the automated system, you must register with AMPC Freight.
Q. I signed up for AMPC Freight some time ago. Do I need to sign up again?
A. If you have actively been shipping using AMPC Freight, you
should have received a new password via email. If you signed up in
the past,
but have not actually used the service to do shipping, there may be some
additional steps needed. Please contact us at the phone number or
email above
for help.
Q. I don't want to sign up until I see some rates. Can I do a sample quote just to check the rates?
A. If you are an AMPC member, you can click on the Sample Rates link above to access a quote only ID and Password. Remember, you will
not be able to ship without completing the registration process.
Q. Do I have to join another organization or pay
another fee to use AMPC Freight?
A. No, all AMPC Freight services are included free to
AMPC members.
Q. I can't view the documents on this page?
